Antares V1 (A.A.A)

3D page builder and 3D slideshow

About Antares

Antares v1 (A.A.A) is the first 3D page builder and 3D slideshow created for web users. This web application provides features to create scenes and objects from web elements like HTML codes, videos, audios, and all other types of data that can be delivered by web pages.

Absolute control on the scene and every element of it gives you the power to project your ideas to a scenario that results in an actual 3D scene and outputs on the client-side. Antares uses WebGL to render the scene and it means all of the scenes that you create can be displayed on web browsers.

You can display the output somewhere on your web page or fill all of a web page with it. This way, you can use Antares as a 3D slideshow on a page or make it fullscreen and create the whole web page with or even use the multi-slide and fullscreen features together to make all of a website in 3D.

Antares does not require you to write codes. Though, every object you place in a scene can be styled by CSS or functional by applying JavaScript. But, that's your choice. Otherwise, all you need to know to create your 3D slideshow, 3D web page, or 3D website with Antares, is about settings and numbers that you provide via GUI (Graphic User Interface) while you are creating the scene.

Antares is a web application that uses PHP for backend functionalities and MySQL as a database. Antares is available for WordPress as well. This application takes advantage of Three.js and WebGL as front-end technologies. Tween.js has a big role in transitions and visual effects of Antares too. You will find out more about the logic behind the Antares scenes if you have taken some time to study these fantastic technologies. In any case, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, and Scss are the other tools that helped the project Antares to come to reality.

How it Works

Antares classifies data simply. First, you need to create a slideshow, using the form linked in the admin home screen. After this step, you can add unlimited slides to the slideshow and when a slide is made, it has the capacity for unlimited objects and particles.

Yes, particles. As the name describes, an object is a single element that can be a piece of text, audio, video, etc. But a particle is formed by two or more elements that can act together or separately to create a visuality that handles the purpose. There are two types of particles that you work on in Antares, preset and custom. Preset particles take values for count, texture, initial arrangement, and transition that gives the admin ability to transform one shape of a particle to another. E.g. you can create a sphere with a certain amount of pieces. You can transform the sphere to a cube, plane, or helix (presets may be increased in the future) at the desired time and with a speed and transition mode you want.

There is another type of particle that provides an opportunity to create custom 3D shapes. Custom particles can have as many pieces as you need. Every part of the particle can be styled, moved, rotated, and controlled separately. A custom particle has the potential to generate more complicated 3D objects. With this feature, you can create a shape and apply textures to each part of it. Here is a point and it relates to the type of renderer that Antares works with. Antares uses CSS3DRenderer to be capable of rendering web elements. Well, having all types of web elements in the list of usable contents requires a sacrifice! Logically CSS3DRenderes deals with HTML elements not regular 3D objects. Therefore, 3D objects and meshes are not being supported by this renderer. So, instead of importing a .obj file that you have created by your Blender or 3DMax, you need to create that object here in the Antares admin panel. Also, instead of using geometries and materials, you are free to use any type of web elements and background images. The experience of creating 3D objects with web elements was one of the ideas that shaped this project. Now it's one of the most fun parts of working with this unique web application.

About the System

The subject of challenging the machine is something that you need to have in mind. Creating a scene full of heavy objects and transitions is just like putting a lot of heaving data on a web page. You are producing a web element with a certain amount of data included. So, mindfulness avoids high resource usage when it comes to considering the size of data provided on the scene. Regarding the fact that all the elements and transitions are files and scripts that must be loaded one by one by the web browser, helps us understand the pressure that the machine will feel while processing the data and rendering the tweens that you are asking it to load.

All licensees will have access to a forum where questions about Antares get the answer. Also, the FAQ page provides frequent questions that are or could be asked about this product on the technical level.

Also, there are a few more support plans that you can choose according to your needs. But those support plans are paid. With this subscription, you'll have access to a helpdesk that provides you a ticket system for connecting to our technicians directly.

Documentation and Tutorials

Antares is an application with a user friendly and easy GUI. Although, you may be familiar with some of the aspects that its forms are asking you about, especially if you have no idea about the logic behind 3D design and its math.

Here descriptive documentations come up to teach every part of the application and provide with all knowledge the user needs to have for creating the best possible outcome with Antares.

Also, there are video tutorials produced for describing all these aspects. These videos are available widely on the internet. Of course, the official Antares Video Tutorials page on is the basement of this tuition phase. Staying tuned with this reference informs you about the latest videos we create about Antares.
